Hello! I’m Kristin Enck.  I am a painter who also likes to make lots of other things, like pottery and cookies.   The Muddy Palette is designed as an “open studio” to share the results of my efforts, and the mess that I make along the way.  Unfortunately, I can’t serve wine and cheese here, but if you follow along, you might enjoy the ride through the creative process, without getting paint or flour on your clothes.

When I’m not working on my own art, I am teaching art to high school and adult students.   Teaching helps me maintain a “beginner’s mind” and continually renews the way that I think about the creativity and learning.  I am also a slow runner and a new banjo player with no direction to go but up.
